Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AR Boxing handles information when you use the AR Boxing iPhone app or visit arboxing.app.

AR Boxing is designed as a privacy-conscious fitness app. The app uses your iPhone camera for on-device movement tracking during boxing-inspired workouts. Workout video is not uploaded for movement analysis.

Information We Collect

Camera and Movement Tracking

AR Boxing requests camera access so the app can detect body movement and show interactive boxing targets.

  • Camera and body tracking are processed on your device.
  • Camera frames are not uploaded to AR Boxing servers for analysis.
  • Skeleton or joint coordinate data is not sent to product analytics.
  • AR Boxing does not identify you from camera images.

Gameplay Recordings

If you choose to use the in-app recording button, AR Boxing uses Apple's ReplayKit screen recording tools to create a recording of the app screen.

  • Recordings are created only when you start recording.
  • Microphone recording is not enabled.
  • When you stop recording, AR Boxing may ask for add-only Photos access so it can save the recording to your Photos library.
  • The recording is saved to Photos on your device. AR Boxing does not upload your recordings.

Workout Data Stored on Device

AR Boxing may store workout history, scores, workout summaries, custom combos, settings, and progress on your device so the app can show your recent activity and preferences. This data is used by the app experience and is not used to identify you.

Purchases and Subscriptions

AR Boxing uses Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems to process subscriptions and restore purchases. Apple handles payment information. AR Boxing does not receive your full payment card details. Subscription status may be used by the app to unlock paid features.

Product Analytics

AR Boxing uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly product analytics. Analytics help us understand whether core flows are working, such as onboarding, paywall views, purchase outcomes, timer controls, and broad workout usage.

Analytics are limited to product usage signals. We do not intentionally send:

  • Camera frames
  • Videos or photos
  • Skeleton coordinates or joint positions
  • Every punch or every frame update
  • User-authored workout files
  • Names, emails, accounts, or precise location

You can turn product analytics off in AR Boxing settings.

Website Data

The arboxing.app website may collect basic technical information through standard hosting logs, such as browser type, approximate request time, pages requested, and IP address. This information is used for security, debugging, and site reliability.

How We Use Information

AR Boxing uses information to run camera-guided workout features, save your app settings and workout progress, unlock and restore subscription access, save user-created recordings to Photos when requested, improve app reliability, diagnose crashes and bugs, and respond to support requests.

Sharing Information

AR Boxing does not sell personal information.

Information may be handled by service providers needed to operate the app, including Apple for App Store purchases, subscriptions, TestFlight, and device permissions; TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly product analytics; and website hosting providers for serving arboxing.app.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the app, users, or our rights.

Children

AR Boxing is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through AR Boxing or the website, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Your Choices

  • Deny or revoke camera permission in iOS Settings.
  • Deny or revoke Photos add permission in iOS Settings.
  • Turn off product analytics in AR Boxing settings.
  • Delete the app to remove app data stored locally on your device.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID App Store account settings.

Data Retention

Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it, reset the app data, or delete the app. Analytics data is retained by TelemetryDeck according to its service settings and policies. Website logs are retained according to the hosting provider's operational needs.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for the type of information handled. No app, website, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

International Users

AR Boxing may be used in locations outside the United States. Service providers may process information in countries where they operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as AR Boxing changes. The latest version will be posted at https://arboxing.app/privacy/.
